As we slowly re-open, we're trying to figure out the best ways in which we could host programs. That said, we don't want to push programs that no one is interested in! Please take five minutes to fill out the survey below. Any information you give us is helpful!
Since March, we've been providing consistent curbside services. August 1st, we opened for appointments and it's been going really well! As of September 8th, we will be opening completely. We are, however, limiting the number of people in the library at one time. The limit is 5 patrons. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Town of East Kingston has taken the following temporary actions listed below by department. These temporary measures will be in effect, at a minimum, through April 6, 2020 to ensure the safety and health of the East Kingston community. As you have heard, the Library has put new operating procedures into effect in order to both be available to the public and keep everyone safe. I think of the Library as a hub of our small town. The UBS is different, so I've given a great deal of thought as to our practice. The main objective is to keep all of us protected. The majority of the USB volunteers are in that over 60 age group, and need to be especially cautious. So:
